Wooclap at CNFPT: New Learning Experiences

The National Center for Territorial Public Service (CNFPT) delivers a wide range of training programs to a highly diverse audience of territorial public servants, both in initial and continuing education.

This diversity makes it essential to select tools that ensure modern and effective pedagogy, regardless of the training format or learner profile.

With this objective in mind, in 2023 CNFPT introduced Wooclap, an interactive platform, into its training programs.

Multimodality at the Core

CNFPT’s pedagogical strategy is built on multimodality, combining in-person, remote, and hybrid formats. This approach offers maximum flexibility to learners. The integration of Wooclap aligns perfectly with this strategy, enabling consistent use across all delivery modes.

Integration Training for Category C Agents

Among the many programs delivered by CNFPT, the Integration Training for Category C Agents plays a major role. Each year, this program engages more than 50,000 trainees across over 3,000 sessions throughout France. Integration training is essential for embedding new territorial civil servants into a shared foundation of knowledge and values. To provide a consistent experience for all learners, whether in virtual classrooms or in person, Wooclap proved to be an ideal solution.

For this program, a project manager works closely with stakeholders to design comprehensive content aligned with pedagogical objectives. The training covers key topics such as:

• The different employment statutes
• Public service values
• The specific functioning of territorial public service

Environmental Commitment

In March 2023, the President of CNFPT unveiled 10 commitments supporting ecological transition. One of these commitments led to the creation of a new module dedicated to ecological transition within the integration training program. This operationally focused module provides participants with a deep understanding of ecological transition challenges. Innovation lies in integrating Wooclap into this module. Through a shared access code, each CNFPT trainer can duplicate the Wooclap event. This approach ensures harmonization of sessions, whether delivered in person or remotely, and guarantees that all learners are exposed to the same key issues.

Impact and Future Perspectives

At CNFPT, the introduction of Wooclap has enriched synchronous training sessions by fostering active learner engagement. The platform has also facilitated content distribution, ensuring consistent quality across sessions and strengthening interaction between trainers and participants. Building on this success, CNFPT continues to expand the use of Wooclap across additional training modules to create learning situations aligned with pedagogical objectives, benefiting every learner.
